About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform complex field service operations with minimal guidance
- Deliver exceptional services in installation, maintenance, and repairs
- Exceed customer expectations by anticipating their needs
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and proactively prevent issues
- Identify and resolve electrical or mechanical problems independently
- Develop potential sales and business opportunities
- Suggest improvements to enhance operations and customer service
- Lead field service projects and provide direction and analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes
- Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic or Electrical trades
- College or university degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical engineering) is an asset
- Over 5 years of experience in technical field service work
- Hands-on experience with high voltage equipment up to 800kV
- Knowledge of electrical testing and substation construction
- Leadership experience in coordinating and leading crews
- Proficiency in MS Office and test equipment software
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel extensively (80%)
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
