About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the preparation of site HSE plans
- Act as the primary point of contact for HSE issues
- Monitor and report HSE performance indicators
- Ensure the safe planning of site activities
- Lead incident investigations and define corrective actions
- Analyze trends and recommend preventive measures
- Conduct inspections and lead safety discussions (toolbox talks)
- Promote HSE programs, including "We Care"
Requirements
What you’ll need- CNESST (CoSS) certification for construction sites
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or professional certification (CSP, CIH, NCSO)
- Bilingual in French and English
- HSE experience on complex projects
- Training in incident investigation
- Knowledge of electrical safety (high voltage)
