About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the MACH Product Management team within Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business
- Drive product strategy, roadmap, and investment direction for your assigned area
- Ensure alignment between system requirements, business needs, and product development
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate application and market needs into product solutions
- Lead through influence in a collaborative global environment
- Manage product portfolio performance, lifecycle, and development direction
- Analyze market and application needs to guide product decisions
- Ensure alignment of requirements across stakeholders and R&D teams
- Drive lifecycle management including product introductions, transitions, and phase-outs
- Align with regulatory requirements and internal business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field
- Experience in product management, engineering, or R&D within relevant industries
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems and power electronics
- Domain knowledge in power systems, HVDC, or similar technologies
- Ability to define product direction based on complex inputs
- Comfortable working across global, cross-functional organizations
- Effective influence of stakeholders without direct authority
- Strong communication skills with a structured, analytical, and result-oriented mindset.
