About the role

  • Execute service work with complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with Hitachi Energy standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Perform field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.
  • Prepare material lists needed for service activity and ensure that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
  • Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.
  • Work with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Technical Education, University Degree or above and major in Engineering with subject of Electrical or Mechanical or other relevant Industrial Engineering fields.
  • Less than 5 years of work experience in field service engineering or project engineering.
  • Preferring Field Service Work experience.
  • Solid experience of technical management of international teams incl. team motivation.
  • Willing to travel (more than 50%).
  • No VISA problem for overseas travel.
  • Fluent in Korean and business level in English, both oral and written.
