About the role

  • Understand existing Hitachi Energy project and quality processes and identify connections to BIM workflows.
  • Develop, standardize, and maintain BIM process documentation, ensuring alignment with corporate procedures and quality requirements.
  • Define and manage the integration of BIM processes with other functions (Engineering, Project Management, Quality, SCM, and Site) in collaboration with the BIM core team.
  • Develop specifications, templates, guidelines, and work instructions.
  • Lead change management activities, including organizing and facilitating workshops, and coordinating process updates.
  • Analyze data and manage KPIs through Power BI.
  • Ensure consistency and traceability of information across functions.
  • Use 3D models, Revit, and BIM platforms to support process mapping and improvements.
  • Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and promote best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or similar
  • 8–12 years of experience in EPC projects or large engineering environments
  • Experience in process management and quality system documentation
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Power BI or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
  • Practical experience using BIM platforms
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills in a multicultural, matrix environment
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
