About the role

  • develop and implement global category strategies in line with business needs.
  • nurture collaboration across regions and business units.
  • oversee cost control processes and provide insights into pricing trends.
  • lead RFx activities and run complex supplier negotiations.
  • manage supplier lifecycle assessments, from qualification to desourcing.
  • maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
  • apply SCM tools and standards to ensure business continuity.
  • support budget setting and help achieve sourcing performance targets.
  • identify supply chain risks and create contingency plans.
  • drive sustainability and responsible sourcing actions within your categories.
  • guide and empower regional and local sourcing teams to improve performance.

Requirements

  • degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • at least 10 years of experience in category management or strategic sourcing.
  • strong record of successful negotiations and strategy execution.
  • ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and turn insights into strategies.
  • willingness to travel internationally to meet suppliers and stakeholders.
