About the role

  • Strategic Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a strategic leader and mentor to a team of experienced Managers and Supervisors, empowering them to autonomously lead Project Management & Spare Parts functions across various Service Units in the US and Canada.
  • Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture of excellence in project management within the organization, developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the value of the entire PMO function.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Drive innovation and experimentation to identify and implement new best practices across all Spare Parts and Project Management processes.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Actively participate in and lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all operational areas.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: o 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, encompassing both individual contributor and supervisory/managerial roles. o Minimum of 8 years in materials management/procurement , with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. o Demonstrated experience and a solid understanding of ERP systems (preferably SAP) within a manufacturing and distribution environment. o Proficiency with various project management methodologies .
  • Certifications: Advanced project management certification (e.g., PMP, CSM) is highly preferred.
