About the role
- You will develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality management processes and procedures in alignment with company and industry standards.
- Conduct supplier qualification, selection, and auditing activities to assess their quality systems, manufacturing capabilities, and overall performance.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to define clear quality requirements for procured materials and components.
- Monitor and analyze supplier quality performance data, including defect rates, on-time delivery, and corrective action effectiveness.
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (8D) processes for supplier quality issues.
- Manage supplier non-conformances, including disposition of defective materials and implementation of containment actions.
- Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews and provide feedback to drive accountability and improvement.
- Participate in new product development projects to ensure supplier quality considerations are integrated from the early stages.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements
- You hold a master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or relevant technical field) or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality management, quality assurance, or a related role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the energy or heavy industry sector.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D, PPAP, APQP).
- Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Certification in quality (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer/Auditor) is a plus with ability to travel frequently to supplier sites, both domestically and internationally, as needed.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required.
