About the role

  • You will join our sourcing team as a Category Manager with responsibility for a defined group of material categories.
  • You will drive strategy, supplier performance and long-term improvements across five subcategories: Coatings, Fasteners, Gaskets, Crimp and Clamp Connectors, and Rubber Parts.
  • You will work with colleagues across engineering, operations, quality and procurement to align decisions with our long-term business goals.
  • You will shape category strategy and build strong supplier partnerships.
  • You will work with global teams and regional stakeholders to support sustainable improvements in cost, quality, delivery and reliability.
  • You will also help standardize materials and processes across our footprint.
  • This role gives you the chance to lead complex sourcing work and influence how we manage your subcategories across the region.
  • You will take ownership of decisions, guide colleagues involved in category work and play a key part in improving our processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in category management, sourcing, procurement or a related field.
  • You can develop and implement sourcing strategies across multiple suppliers.
  • You bring solid negotiation skills and experience with supplier agreements.
  • You have experience leading complex sourcing initiatives.
  • You collaborate well with cross-functional teams.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • You analyze data and translate findings into sourcing actions.
  • You work independently and take ownership of decisions.
  • You are fluent in English.
