About the role
- Design innovative approaches for grid operation and deliver robust software modules
- Translate real power-system problems into rigorous models and solutions
- Collaborate with a global and inter-disciplinary team from concept to production
- Build relationships with partners including universities, start-ups, and vendors
- Clearly communicate concepts to software developers and produce design docs
Requirements
- Master Electrical/Power Systems Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent industry experience
- Proven expertise in modelling and steady-state analyses of power grids
- Knowledge in mathematical optimization in power systems
- Proficiency in C#, C++, Rust or a similar high-level programming language; Python and/or Matlab are a plus
- Experience with software engineering techniques (version control, code reviews, testing, CI/CD)
- High performance computing skills such as parallel/distributed computing, GPU, OpenMP or MPI
- Excellent communication skills in English
