About the role
- Design and implement control systems for high voltage substations
- Develop and create technical drawings and documents essential for construction and project execution
- Take responsibility for all substation Control and Protection design, calculation, and documentation
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs comply with customer requirements and local regulations/standards
- Conduct necessary clarifications on components, supplies, services, and control and protection systems
- Participate actively in testing and commissioning activities
- Engage with factories and suppliers across Europe to support project needs
Requirements
- Higher education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Broad knowledge in substation Control and Protection engineering and execution
- Knowledge of electrical design software EPLAN, E3 or Autocad
- Knowledge of Power Systems, Renewable Energy and Transmission Systems
- Knowledge of control systems, SCADA and programming
- Experience of commissioning, testing of protections, secondary and primary injections
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, both spoken and written.
