About the role
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional continuous improvement (CI) projects to drive transformation and operational excellence in mechanical engineering worldwide.
- Develop and implement strategies for smarter, more efficient collaboration within the global mechanical management team.
- Standardize and enhance our approach to Functional Competence Assessments (FCA) across all mechanical teams.
- Spearhead the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes into all mechanical teams, moving beyond the current setup.
- Develop and oversee execution plans for our equipment groups, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project timelines.
- Act as a champion for change, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and adoption of new processes.
- Monitor emerging technologies—such as AI—and propose solutions that strengthen competitiveness and drive transformation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, operational development, or transformation roles within mechanical engineering or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional, global projects and driving organizational change.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering processes, with experience in BIM implementation considered a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for operational excellence.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
