About the role
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for your territory
- Identify and qualify new leads through research, networking, and site visits
- Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM
- Coordinate with technical, marketing, and proposal teams to craft winning bids
- Lead RFP/RFI responses and partner strategy
- Build executive-level relationships and ensure stakeholder alignment
- Track competitor activity and market trends
- Close collaboration with our Key account managers
- Travel to customer sites (~40%) and leverage virtual engagement as needed
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience in the electric utility sector
- Proven ability to win new business and expand customer base
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Asset: knowledge of SCADA, ADMS, EMS, GMS, and IT/OT convergence experience selling enterprise software solutions to electric utility.
