About the role
- Work within a cross-functional team to provide world-class supply chain support during project, tender and execution phases for project delivery and service organization.
- Procure materials based on required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with the company's purchasing policies and procedures.
- Plan and execute sourcing activities for tenders and project work to help achieve project objectives in terms of cost/budget, schedule and procurement quality.
- Maintain a primary interface with the sales and execution teams.
- Plan and ensure proper implementation of and compliance with SCM instructions.
- Track purchase progress/status and inform teams as necessary.
- Proactively work to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality and delivery.
- Ensure that tenders are issued in accordance with the sourcing strategy.
- Ensure cost-reduction targets and key performance indicators are achieved.
- Manage supplier relationships in partnership with NAM teams and Global Category Management.
Requirements
- Degree in supply chain management or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in the field with proven results.
- Ability to be proactively assertive.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Professional experience in a supply chain role and in a project environment.
- Interest in technical topics and the ability to independently solve complex problems.
- Team player, motivated, structured and results-oriented.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
