Work as part of the Global Product Group (GPG) Power Transformers
Work with the Global Product Manager for Industrial & Specialty Transformers to translate customer requirements into product improvements and developments
Analyze market situation and international standards, market & customer requirements
Conduct competitor analyses and identify technical product gaps
Manage technical specifications of Industrial and Specialty Power Transformers
Support development of business cases for product development, transfer of technology, maintenance, and competitiveness with focus on Offshore Substation and Subsea Transformers
Collect and share market technical data and support new product development by translating market requirements into inputs for the product roadmap
Prepare and present technical communication materials for product launches
Keep engineering, operations, sales and channels informed on topics related to Industrial and Specialty transformers
Provide support to data quality improvement, sales, participate in customer meetings and attend trade shows and conferences on request
Ensure appropriate training material for Industrial and Specialty transformers is available
Requirements
MSc or BSc Engineering degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in transformer engineering and/or research & development
Electrical design experience from working in a factory with production process and cost structure understanding
Technical knowledge of transformer portfolio
Knowledge of offshore wind or O&G substation transformers or subsea transformers is a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Fluent English, experience with writing technical papers and/or reports
