About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale finance transformations.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients modernizing financial operations and business processes.
Advise on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank management, fixed assets, budgeting, and project accounting.
Work with business leaders, finance stakeholders, project teams, and executive sponsors to evaluate current-state processes and design future-state solutions.
Lead discovery activities, requirements gathering, and fit-gap assessments.
Facilitate workshops and translate business needs into functional solution designs.
Guide clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Partner with architects, consultants, project managers, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful design, delivery, testing, and deployment.
Contribute to architectural governance, solution quality, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Present recommendations, communicate complex concepts, and build consensus across business and technology teams.
Mentor team members and influence strategic decisions.
Support pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and SOW development.
Travel domestically and internationally as required by client and project needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline; accounting-focused education strongly preferred.
8-10+ years of experience in ERP finance implementations.
4+ full lifecycle D365 F&O/AX engagements in a lead architect role.
Substantial experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Deep functional expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Project Accounting.
Experience leading requirements gathering, business process analysis, fit-gap assessments, solution design, and functional specification development.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, compliance considerations, and finance process optimization.
Outstanding communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Experience engaging users, business leaders, executives, and steering committees.
Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and SOW development.
Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MB-310 or MB-700, or equivalent, strongly preferred.
Familiarity with finance ISVs and Power Platform/Azure integration patterns is a plus.
Demonstrated success in large, cross-functional enterprise transformation programs.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Must be a US citizen or able to work within the US without sponsorship.
