About the role

  • Overall responsibility for the project's technical strategy, including data migrations, integrations, and core customizations
  • Conduct and lead architecture and technical requirements workshops
  • Assess and select appropriate Microsoft cloud technologies with consideration for security, compliance, performance, and scalability
  • Provide technical leadership on projects and coach/mentor developers
  • Ensure adherence to architecture principles, best practices, and standards
  • Work closely with the Solution Architect and delivery team to ensure consistent, high-quality implementation
  • Support pre-sales activities including presentations, solution design, effort estimates, and decision documentation
  • Advise customers on roadmaps, release strategies, and platform governance
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining technical strategy documentation
  • Responsible for establishing and implementing an efficient Application Lifecycle Management process
  • Define and ensure binding standards for transparent and accurate effort estimation in software development

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in consulting and technically implementing Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions (Dataverse, Power Automate, Copilot)
  • Excellent knowledge of enterprise and software architectures as well as pro-code development with C# and JavaScript
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling, security, and performance
  • Strong analytical skills to develop solutions for complex problems
  • Experience with Azure services such as Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management
  • Experience with solution strategies, ALM, and CI/CD for Dynamics and Power Platform
  • Extensive experience integrating external systems
  • Excellent German and English language skills, written and spoken
  • Low willingness to travel
  • Advantageous: experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Azure AI
  • Experience integrating non-Microsoft ERP systems, such as SAP
