About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn to uncover vulnerabilities and help clients improve security through IT emergency concepts, restart and recovery plans, and data backup strategies — both on-site and remotely.
- Participate in handling security incidents, incident response and recovery procedures, and emergency measures in the cloud.
- Assist our clients in ensuring operational continuity.
- Raise clients' emergency preparedness awareness through awareness workshops, IT emergency exercises, and switchover and functional tests.
- Gain exposure to adjacent areas such as information security and third‑party risk management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Practical experience in system integration, e.g., data center administration or IT service at a systems integrator; alternatively a degree in IT (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Cyber Security Management) or similar.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and operations, as well as initial experience in IT emergency management or with ITIL‑compliant operational processes.
- A proactive drive to work into complex subject areas, pragmatic problem‑solving skills, and a confident presence.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in German.
