About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end business analysis activities across strategic, digital, operational, and regulatory initiatives and value streams
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, drivers, constraints, and success criteria
- Analyse current-state processes, systems, data, and customer journeys to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Translate business needs into user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications suitable for delivery teams.
- Ensure requirements and solutions comply with internal governance, risk, and regulatory obligations
- Prioritise requirements in collaboration with business owners, product owners, and delivery leads
- Facilitate alignment between business, technology, operations, data, and external partners
- Evaluate solution options and contribute to the selection of technology, vendors, or delivery approaches
- Produce high-quality analysis deliverables including process maps, business cases, and impact assessments
- Build and maintain business cases, benefits hypotheses, and value tracking mechanisms
- Validate delivered solutions against requirements and business expectations
- Support testing activities by helping define test scenarios, reviewing test cases, and validating outcomes
- Assess change impacts on people, processes, systems, and controls and support change readiness activities
- Communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models as required by the initiative
- Drive continuous improvement of business analysis practices, tools, and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree, ideally in Management / Economics / Engineering (or similar)
- Solid background in tech/business consulting, ideally in insurance business
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them to functional and non-functional requirements as well as process maps
- Ability to derive business cases and present arguments for decision making
- Experience in working with agile/scrum methodology
- Fluent in English, verbally and written, is mandatory
- Fluency in other European languages is preferred (German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Flemish)
