About the role
- Design, develop, maintain and test printed circuit boards (PCB) using Altium Designer.
- Experience in high-voltage(1-10KV) and low-voltage PCB designs ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Develop firmware in C/C++ for Microchip Microcontroller including peripheral drivers, communication stacks, sensor interfaces and application logic.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems.
- Perform testing, verification, and validation of electronic components and assemblies.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including schematics, bill of materials, and layout drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Debug, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the design and production phases.
- Export design files in formats ready to be sent directly to electronics manufacturers.
- Liaise with electronics manufacturers regarding production issues and technical problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 year’s practical experience in electronics engineering.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB layout and schematic capture and documentation.
- Strong understanding of PCB design principles and practices.
- Solid understanding of analogue and digital electronic circuit design.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI requirements and mitigation techniques.
- Experience designing, programming and debugging microcontroller-based embedded system.
- Strong experience in embedded programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
