About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, maintain and test printed circuit boards (PCB) using Altium Designer.
  • Experience in high-voltage(1-10KV) and low-voltage PCB designs ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop firmware in C/C++ for Microchip Microcontroller including peripheral drivers, communication stacks, sensor interfaces and application logic.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic systems.
  • Perform testing, verification, and validation of electronic components and assemblies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including schematics, bill of materials, and layout drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Debug, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the design and production phases.
  • Export design files in formats ready to be sent directly to electronics manufacturers.
  • Liaise with electronics manufacturers regarding production issues and technical problems.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 year’s practical experience in electronics engineering.
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB layout and schematic capture and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of PCB design principles and practices.
  • Solid understanding of analogue and digital electronic circuit design.
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI requirements and mitigation techniques.
  • Experience designing, programming and debugging microcontroller-based embedded system.
  • Strong experience in embedded programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
