About the role
- Grow the sector's revenue (equipment and services)
- Identify new business opportunities
- Drive specification and recommendation efforts with decision-makers and influencers in the sector (engineering consultancies, system integrators, etc.)
- Organize sales visits and participate in targeted events (trade shows, special promotions, etc.)
- Lead and motivate the partner network (integrators, distributors)
- Train customers, integrators and distributors on the solutions and services offered
- Advise on technological developments and new software releases
- Manage the commercial and technical follow-up of projects: needs analysis, feasibility study, costing/estimating, proposal, order, invoicing
- Contribute to responses to client tenders/RFPs
- Support the back-office team to ensure the quality and relevance of proposed solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations during meetings or at events.
Requirements
- Degree equivalent to Bac+3 to Bac+5 (Bachelor's to Master's) in commercial and technical fields such as electronics or industrial IT/automation
- Minimum 3 years' sales experience in specification-based selling and key account development
- Ability to work in a technical environment
- Knowledge of building electronic security systems is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to manage the project sales process through to order placement
- Ability to perform market analysis
- Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) tools
