About the role
- Process full-cycle payroll for a multi-state employee population (3,000 employees)
- Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely execution across pay cycles
- Support data validation, parallel testing, and issue resolution during HRIS migration
- Manage payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end activities (W-2s, tax filings, etc.)
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
- Document payroll processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 4+ years of payroll administration experience in a high-volume environment
- Hands-on experience with a large-scale payroll system required; experience supporting a payroll or HRIS system transition is a plus
- Proven experience supporting HRIS or payroll system implementations
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and data integrity
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Ability to work hybrid from the Tampa area office
