About the role
- The RSM – Professional Residential will be responsible for driving sales solutions within the Custom Residential Installer market.
- Must have a solid understanding of IP and wireless networking, end-point management and routing/switching as it applies to AV, access control, security cameras and home automation.
- Familiar with resi AV control systems such as Control 4, Josh.ai, Alexa, Savant and Crestron (sometimes Crestron Home, but usually the commercial version for very large projects).
- Align with Product Management to assure Product / Market fit: Assess key product developments, pricing, and profitability.
- Ensure alignment with the Channel Chief for inclusion in the Partner Program.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in sales and/or business development within the professional residential market or a related industry
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and partner ecosystems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Proven ability to drive alignment between sales activities and company objectives
- Recognized as a Next Generation Seller
- Experience in selling network or AV-over-IP technologies is a plus.
