About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive high ‑ quality pipeline by executing targeted, personalized outreach to multi ‑ level stakeholders within priority prospect and customer accounts.
  • Consistently exceed monthly qualified appointment goals, forecasted deal targets, and annual revenue contributions.
  • Leverage data ‑ driven insights to prioritize accounts, refine messaging, and optimize outbound performance.
  • Partner directly with Major Account Executives and Pre ‑ Sales Engineers to qualify, nurture, and advance opportunities—improving conversion rates and accelerating sales cycles.
  • Participate in weekly account planning to align on strategy, messaging, and outbound sequencing.
  • Become a subject ‑ matter expert on HireRight’s solutions, value propositions, and competitive differentiators to deliver compelling, consultative conversations.
  • Maintain high ‑ quality, accurate CRM documentation in Salesforce to support forecasting, reporting, and territory planning.
  • Utilize sales ‑ enablement tools to execute multi ‑ channel outreach (phone, email, social) with consistency and precision.
  • Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and contribute to scalable demand ‑ generation initiatives.
  • Engage in quarterly regional sales meetings to share insights, review performance, and align on business priorities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of Business Development or Mid ‑ Market field sales experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence across multiple levels.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets in a fast ‑ paced, metrics ‑ driven environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with tools such as Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and modern sales ‑ enablement platforms.
  • A competitive mindset, positive attitude, and relentless drive to win.
