About the role
- Contribute to complex litigation matters from day one, including high-stakes trials, appellate proceedings, and class action defense
- Draft and review motions, briefs, and pleadings that demand precision and persuasive legal writing
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys in case strategy development, trial preparation, and appeals work
- Handle client interactions with professionalism, discretion, and strong attention to detail
- Engage in pro bono work (up to 50 hours counted toward billable requirements) while gaining broad exposure to diverse matters
Requirements
- Judicial clerkship experience (state or federal)
- Excellent academic credentials from a respected law school (required)
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused practice environment
- Billable expectation: 1,950 hours annually (including 50 pro bono hours)
- Additional 200 productive hours required (client development, firm activities, training)
