About the role
- Serve as the main liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies.
- Open and manage new PI cases, ensuring proper documentation and intake procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, including medical records, bills, and client communications.
- Track treatment progress and follow up with providers to obtain records, reports, and invoices.
- Support attorneys in case preparation (drafting correspondence, organizing discovery, managing case timelines).
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and coordination of hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Prepare settlement demands and assist in medical lien negotiations.
- Provide proactive, empathetic communication to clients throughout the case.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Case Manager in a Personal Injury law firm
- Strong knowledge of PI workflows: medical record requests, demand drafting, lien negotiation, litigation support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases
- Proficiency in case management software (Clio, Filevine, Needles, or similar)
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced legal environment.
