About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research and identify potential leads through various channels (LinkedIn, databases, social media, online research, etc.)
- Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies (email, cold calls, social outreach)
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate lead information
- Schedule meetings and hand off qualified leads to the sales team
- Collaborate with marketing and sales to align messaging and targeting strategies
- Track, analyze, and report on lead generation metrics and performance
- Continuously optimize outreach strategies to improve conversion rates
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3+ years experience in Sales Development, Lead Generation, or Appointment Setting
- Experience with cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, cold calling)
- Experience running automation campaigns (e.g., Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist, Smartlead, etc.)
- Prior experience supporting founders or small ventures preferred
- Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, etc.)
- Familiar with outbound automation tools
- Ability to source leads using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, etc.
- Basic data management and list-building skills
- Comfortable using dialers and cold-calling platforms
