Requirements

  • - Minimum 1–2 years of prior legal assistant experience; workers’ compensation experience strongly preferred.
  • - Hands-on experience with medical records retrieval and documentation tracking workflows.
  • - Proficiency with case management software and legal documentation tools.
  • - Some college coursework completed or equivalent professional certification in legal or healthcare administration preferred.
  • - Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to draft professional correspondence.
  • - Experience coordinating with medical offices, healthcare providers, and legal documentation systems.
  • - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple case files simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • - Background in healthcare, medical facilities, or workers’ compensation legal environments preferred.
  • - Ability to independently request, track, and follow up on medical and legal documentation.
  • - Comfortable supporting a foundational role with potential to assist in training or guiding future team members.
