About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare detailed civil designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Design subdivision layouts, earthworks, roads, drainage, sewer, and water infrastructure
- Produce drawings and documentation for approvals and construction
- Coordinate with councils, utility providers, consultants, and other project stakeholders
- Respond to authority comments and assist in obtaining project approvals
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant Australian engineering and local authority standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation and deliver work within agreed timelines
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in Australian civil design projects (Western Australia experience is highly regarded)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience in subdivision, drainage, road, sewer, and water infrastructure design
- Understanding of Australian civil design standards and approval processes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with subdivision projects in Western Australia (preferred)
- Familiarity with planning and approval processes (preferred)
- Experience preparing engineering or design reports (preferred)
- Relevant Engineering or Civil Drafting qualification (preferred)
