About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare detailed civil designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Design subdivision layouts, earthworks, roads, drainage, sewer, and water infrastructure
Produce drawings and documentation for approvals and construction
Coordinate with councils, utility providers, consultants, and other project stakeholders
Respond to authority comments and assist in obtaining project approvals
Ensure all designs comply with relevant Australian engineering and local authority standards
Maintain accurate project documentation and deliver work within agreed timelines

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in Australian civil design projects (Western Australia experience is highly regarded)
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience in subdivision, drainage, road, sewer, and water infrastructure design
Understanding of Australian civil design standards and approval processes
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience with subdivision projects in Western Australia (preferred)
Familiarity with planning and approval processes (preferred)
Experience preparing engineering or design reports (preferred)
Relevant Engineering or Civil Drafting qualification (preferred)
