About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute SEO initiatives for clients in the retainer phase, including Google Business Profile optimization, local listing updates, on-site content optimizations, content uploads, data pulling, and other SEO-related tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with SEO Strategists by brainstorming solutions, asking questions, seeking feedback, and learning the strategy behind the work.
- Prioritize, manage, and complete SEO-related tasks by assigned due dates while maintaining consistent progress across workloads in ClickUp.
- Maintain organization across assigned tasks, inbox management, and work-related communication, responding to internal messages within 24 business hours.
- Communicate proactively with managers and SEO Strategists if deadlines are at risk or additional prioritization support is needed.
- Coordinate and implement SEO strategies and tactics for existing Base-level clients.
- Leverage AI tools to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for Base-level clients in order to efficiently support SEO strategy development.
- Develop foundational SEO knowledge across technical SEO, content optimization, on-site SEO, off-site SEO, and Google Business Profile optimization.
- Participate in ongoing training through courses, certifications, articles, collaboration with strategists, and guidance from SEO leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-3 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and receive feedback constructively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
- Interest in developing expertise in technical SEO, content optimization, local SEO, and digital marketing strategy.
- Ability to proactively communicate challenges, ask questions, and seek support when needed.
- Experience with project management systems such as ClickUp or similar tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Business Profile, content management systems, or SEO tools is a plus.
