About the role
- Analyze business processes, system landscapes and data flows and derive optimization and digitalization opportunities
- Advise clients both technically and methodologically, and facilitate workshops, interviews and alignment meetings
- Elicit, structure, prioritize and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Create user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and specifications
- Build, maintain and evolve backlogs together with product owners and teams
- Translate business requirements into implementable solution concepts — in close collaboration with architecture and development
- Provide business-side support for design, implementation and testing including quality assurance (reviews, test support, acceptance)
- Support MVPs, prototypes and roadmaps, and accompany trainings, go-lives and the enablement of key users
- Act as a bridge between the business domain and IT
Requirements
- Degree in (business) informatics/computer science, business administration with an IT focus, or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, consultant or in requirements management
- Very good understanding of business processes, IT systems and software projects
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Enjoyment of consulting, facilitation and client work
- Strong communication skills, conceptual thinking and solid stakeholder management
- Very good German and good English language skills
- Nice-to-have: Agile project experience (Scrum, Kanban); basic technical understanding of modern architectures (APIs, microservices, cloud, containers); experience in regulated or complex environments (e.g., public sector, industry, retail)
