About the role
- Lead and execute the Academy strategy — defining curriculum, delivery formats, certification, and performance measurement to build the industry’s benchmark for safe AI voice-agent enablement.
- Drive content excellence — collaborate cross-functionally (Product, Engineering, Clinical Safety, Voice Design, Customer Success, and Services) to develop training rooted in our safety-first architecture and healthcare best practices.
- Educate and empower — lead onboarding and continuous learning for Hippocratic AI team members to ensure consistent, expert-level understanding of voice-agent deployment, monitoring, and governance.
- Sustain ongoing learning — evolve programs as new capabilities, workflows, or regulations emerge, ensuring both clients and internal teams stay current and confident.
- Build world-class knowledge management — architect a unified system to catalog, govern, and maintain critical documentation, best-practice guides, and reference materials.
- Measure and improve impact — define KPIs to track adoption, readiness, and safety outcomes; report insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and grow a high-performing team — recruit and mentor experts in learning design, instructional technology, and knowledge management; oversee budgets, tools, and operations.
- Champion safe innovation — represent the Hippocratic AI Academy internally and externally, cultivating a culture of excellence, safety, and confidence in AI voice-agent deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MEd, Healthcare Administration, or similar).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in a senior learning & development, training & enablement, or knowledge management role — ideally in a high-growth technology or healthcare-tech organisation.
- Demonstrated track record of designing and scaling training programs for B2B clients and/or enterprise customers (preferably within the healthcare, SaaS, AI, voice-agent or conversational-AI domains).
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, virtual and in-person delivery formats, and blended-learning models.
- Experience leading or building a knowledge-management function: taxonomy, content governance, document control/versioning, searchability, access permissions.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including healthcare systems, regulations, and challenges.
- Excellent business acumen — able to partner with product, engineering, clinical safety, customer success executives, and external clients.
- Demonstrated leadership of a team, budget responsibility, metrics/analytics mindset (able to define, measure, and improve effectiveness).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with C-suite clients, internal leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep interest in AI, voice agents, conversational UX, and healthcare delivery transformation — with commitment to “first do no harm” and patients-first mindset.
