About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor and open the state and federal mailboxes daily, tracking tax notices and notifications
Manage and control state and federal tax clearance certificates (CNDs), ensuring tax compliance
Update risk matrix calculations
Support tax planning with a focus on reducing tax burden and improving fiscal efficiency
Work on multidisciplinary projects with tax impact
Provide support during tax inspections and internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation
Participate in the management, strategy and follow-up of administrative and judicial tax litigation
Assist in drafting petitions, inquiries and requests when necessary
Monitor the submission of accessory obligations, ensuring compliance with current legislation
Track changes in state and federal legislation and evaluate their impact on operations
Support the development of solutions related to Tax Reform and tax automation
Collaborate with internal areas to support risk management and monitoring of tax positions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Economics or related fields
Solid experience with ICMS, ICMS-ST, Differential Rate (DIFAL) and PIS/COFINS
In-depth knowledge of EFD ICMS/IPI (Digital Tax Bookkeeping), including the structure of records and the relevance of reported information
Familiarity with access, tax inquiries and handling tax inspections across different states
Analytical profile, strong organizational skills, proactivity, responsibility and critical thinking
Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
Broad knowledge of indirect taxes
Ability to support the development of solutions related to Tax Reform and tax automation
