About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Demand Process Leadership: Ensure accurate sales forecasting by SKU for the categories under your responsibility across the current 8 countries and design the planning model for expansion into new international markets.
  • Consensus and Influence (Pre-S&OP): Lead demand alignment and consensus meetings with senior stakeholders in Product, Commercial/Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance in each country, translating data into strategic decisions.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Diagnose demand variances, anticipate stockout or excess-inventory scenarios and propose mitigation plans (commercial actions or production adjustments) to ensure service level (OTIF).
  • KPI Optimization: Drive continuous improvement of global S&OP indicators (Accuracy, WMAPE, Bias, Stockouts, Inventory Turnover and Inventory Coverage).
  • Business and Manufacturing Perspective: Link the demand plan to production capacity (S&OE / MPS) and finance, conducting feasibility studies for new projects, investment analyses and assessing impacts of product launches/discontinuations.
  • Process and Tools Evolution: Develop advanced analyses, statistical forecasting models and build executive dashboards and reports to support board-level decision making.
  • Technical Mentorship: Support the technical development of less-experienced analysts on the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven Experience: Strong background in Demand Planning / S&OP, preferably within consumer goods (FMCG), cosmetics or direct selling companies, with international exposure.
  • Tools Proficiency: Advanced Excel (modeling and automation) and advanced Power BI (dashboard creation and complex data analysis).
  • S&OP Systems: Practical experience with planning tools (experience with Pyplan is a strong plus).
  • Logical and Statistical Reasoning: Strong ability with calculations, statistical demand forecasting models and inventory management.
  • Behavioral Competencies (Soft Skills):
  • Influential Leadership and Negotiation: Ability to defend technical viewpoints and align conflicting objectives between Sales and Operations.
  • Holistic Vision and Critical Analysis: Connecting the company’s macro strategy to daily SKU operations.
  • Resilience and Sense of Urgency: Able to operate effectively in the volatility of the beauty and wellness market.
  • Autonomy and Proactivity: Hands-on profile focused on continuous improvement and problem solving.
  • Languages: Intermediate to advanced Spanish is considered a strong differential due to operations in Latin American countries.
