About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Calculate and validate production costs (raw materials, packaging, labor, and indirect costs/overhead)
Analyze standard vs. actual costs, identifying variances and their causes
Structure and review technical data sheets (BOM)
Ensure cost accuracy by SKU, product line, and channel
Perform reconciliations between physical inventory and accounting records
Monitor inventories and variances
Identify and address losses, obsolescence, and product shelf-life/expiration issues
Analyze margins by product, channel, and market
Identify opportunities to improve profitability
Support pricing and simulations for new products
Assess impacts of input cost and exchange rate fluctuations (international operations)
Support the monthly close with cost and inventory analyses
Perform accounting reconciliations and provisions
Support internal and external audits
Ensure consistency between the ERP and the accounting system
Implement controls and standardizations
Develop and track performance indicators (KPIs)
Drive automation and improvement of routine processes
Collaborate with Production, R&D, Purchasing, and Logistics
Support operational decisions based on data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Proven experience with industrial costing (preferably in manufacturing)
Knowledge of absorption costing and standard costing
Experience with inventory control and physical inventories
Experience with financial close and reconciliations
Advanced Excel (mandatory)
Experience with TOTVS ERP is desirable
