About the role

  • Build trusted partnerships with your PM, Data Scientist, and cross-neighborhood engineering leads.
  • Audit the current Assessment Service roadmap, catalog inbound requests from partner pods, and establish a transparent prioritization framework.
  • Immerse yourself in the team's experimentation culture.
  • Ship at least one experiment that demonstrably moves a core clinical metric.
  • Define and publish contribution patterns for the Assessment Service.
  • Own the outcomes product surface end-to-end.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ engineers in a product or platform engineering environment
  • Full-stack or backend-heavy engineering background, with the ability to reason about service architecture, data modeling, and client-side UX tradeoffs
  • Experience owning a shared platform or service consumed by multiple internal teams — with the judgment to balance internal roadmap with external partner needs
  • Track record of running experiments and reasoning about outcomes metrics — not just shipping features.
