About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver high-quality synchronous and asynchronous care by assessing, screening, diagnosing, prescribing, and titrating medication
- Complete initial and follow-up visits synchronously to review progress and adjust medications
- Provide prompt and empathetic patient care on the platform
- Adhere to Hims & Hers platform guidelines and policies
- Complete all required training
- Evaluate and manage patients requiring testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Board-Certified Physician; Board-Eligible Physicians are not considered
- Medical Degree (MD/DO)
- Unrestricted DEA license
- Experience prescribing Schedule III controlled substances in KS, MA, ME, MO, or WV
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urology, or Endocrinology
- 1+ years of applicable clinical practice experience, exclusive of orientation/training
- 1+ years of previous telehealth experience
- 1+ years treating testosterone deficiency through testosterone replacement therapy
- Actively licensed in more than 5 states
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Comfortable providing synchronous video and asynchronous chat care
- No current or pending malpractice lawsuits; active state license in good standing
- Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication with clarity and compassion
