About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver high-quality synchronous and asynchronous care by assessing, screening, diagnosing, prescribing, and titrating medication as necessary
  • Provide prompt and empathetic patient care on the platform
  • Adhere to Hims & Hers platform guidelines and policies
  • Complete all required training
  • Help shape a new clinical program in peptides and longevity
  • Contribute hands-on to clinical protocols, patient experience, and care delivery as the program grows
  • Provide care across a range of health concerns, with particular focus on peptide therapy and diagnosing and treating hormone-related conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Medical Degree (MD/DO)
  • Unrestricted DEA license
  • Experience prescribing Schedule III controlled substances
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urology, Endocrinology, or OB/GYN
  • 1+ years of applicable clinical practice experience, exclusive of orientation/training
  • 1+ years of previous telehealth experience
  • Actively licensed in more than 10 states
  • No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
  • Active state license in good standing
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Comfortable providing care synchronously via video and asynchronously via chat
  • Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
  • Experience prescribing or familiarity with peptide therapies is a strong plus
  • Comfort practicing in an evolving treatment area
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
  • Applicants must be Board-Certified; Board-Eligible Physicians are not considered
