💰 $85,000 - $90,000 per year
About the role
- Developing and executing indirect procurement strategies that support new product launches, site launches, and strategic initiatives
- Ensuring on-time sourcing, supplier qualification, and developing business services critical to successful launches
- Identifying, qualifying, and onboarding suppliers to meet project timelines
- Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with new and existing vendors
- Establishing strong partnerships to reduce risk and drive efficiencies
- Consulting with stakeholders to develop the best contractual outcomes as well as mediate contractual issues as needed
- Leading cross functional team through complex negotiations and RFQs
- Partnering with finance to evaluate budgets and set targets
- Reporting and providing communication to senior management
- Coaching and developing team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 2-4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or similar roles preferred
- Understanding of procurement software (Netsuite, SAP, or other ERP systems)
- Strong business acumen
