About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the design and construction process for new developments, conversions and renovations
  • Manage projects according to the AD&C project management process and Hilton Project Manager responsibilities
  • Act as Hilton’s primary AD&C representative and principal contact for owners, consultants and Hilton stakeholders
  • Prepare monthly internal project reports covering progress, milestones, risks and mitigation plans
  • Review consultant submissions throughout design and construction and prepare reports and correspondence
  • Work with owners, developers and consultants to optimize project delivery, quality and program
  • Support technical due diligence by reviewing plans, specifications and scheme proposals for compliance with Hilton Brand Standards and applicable codes
  • Provide technical recommendations during project evaluation and hotel signings
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews across Development, AD&C, Openings & Transitions, Operations, Food & Drink, Technology and other functions
  • Facilitate incorporation of operational requirements, design intent and brand standards
  • Identify risks, technical issues and non-compliance and support timely resolution
  • Conduct regular site inspections of construction progress, quality, workmanship and Hilton standards compliance
  • Supervise external consultants where required
  • Oversee snagging inspections, project handover and hotel opening readiness
  • Inspect completed works and prepare handover documentation
  • Undertake Property Improvement Plans for conversion and rebranding projects
  • Provide technical guidance to owners implementing agreed PIP scopes
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, consultants and Hilton stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management or experience in lieu of
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hospitality design, construction or project management, preferably within an international hotel company
  • Experience managing multiple hotel development projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of hotel design, construction methods and project delivery
  • Experience working with owners, developers, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Knowledge of local building regulations and international Fire & Life Safety standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong project management, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities across different countries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software
  • Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English
  • In-depth knowledge of construction projects and track record of successful project delivery
  • Ability to lead and monitor outside consultants
