About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete month-end accounting close, including preparing journal entries, billing requests, reports, and Excel or query-based data analyses
  • Analyze financial performance and identify trends and drivers affecting the Balance Sheet and P&L
  • Partner with internal and external auditors and the technical accounting department on the accounting treatment of complex financial transactions
  • Collaborate with auditors and internal departments to resolve data-analysis issues and respond to information requests
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers to review information for journal entries, client billings, and balance-sheet reconciliations
  • Own revenue recognition processes, including forecasting and analysis
  • Reconcile, track, and report notes receivable
  • Interpret legal agreements and apply current accounting policies when entering accounting entries and preparing reports
  • Report to the Corporate Accounting Manager on the Corporate Receivables team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two (2) years of professional accounting experience
  • Experience applying GAAP principles and practical applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
