About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform end-of-month closing and post-closing activities
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and wire transfers
  • Compile data and supporting documentation for journal entries
  • Partner with third-party service providers, outsourcing providers, and auditors to ensure important information is captured
  • Collaborate with the manager to establish goals and plans prioritizing project and department goals
  • Develop positive, cross-collaborative relationships with finance and corporate departments
  • Help with accounting tasks while learning processes and developing knowledge for advancement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • One (1) year of work experience or internship in a corporate or business environment
  • Knowledge of business mathematics, including calculating percentage changes and averages/weighted averages
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including understanding and manipulating spreadsheets
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is useful but not a minimum qualification
  • One (1) year of relevant analytical, accounting, or finance work experience is useful
