About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report to the Compliance Supervisor and help monitor and audit the Portfolio Services Department internally and externally
- Collect data, examine closing documents, manage loan servicing steps, and support collection efforts
- Monitor complaint-handling processes and assist team members with complaint handling
- Monitor collection and customer service calls and report violations to leadership
- Coordinate internal and external audits, provide supporting documentation, and respond to audit inquiries
- Report non-conformities found during monitoring or audits to leadership
- Collect and analyze system data for KPIs and trend analysis reports
- Research applicable regulations and present their impact on current and future processes to leadership
- Draft and revise department policies, procedures, and consumer communications
- Monitor updates to forms, consumer-facing communications, policies, procedures, and training materials
- Assist with training and testing employee knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures
- Assist with collection and loan servicing licensing processes, including initial applications and renewals
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of FDCPA, UDAAP, and FCRA
- Associate's Degree/College Diploma/Cepeg or Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Experience in the timeshare industry preferred
- Must be within the Orlando area
