About the role
- Serve as M365 analyst for HGV’s tenant, managing core services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, CoPilot and Entra ID.
- Configure and maintain tenant-wide settings, policies, and governance standards.
- Manage licensing assignments, optimization, and forecasting of usage needs.
- Manage user accounts, role assignments, group-based licensing and mailbox configurations in Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure Active Directory.
- Monitor service health, message center updates, and roadmap changes; communicate impacts to stakeholders.
- Maintain and enforce IT security policies, collaborate with IT security teams to implement compliance and data loss prevention policies.
- Support change management processes and validate new features prior to rollout.
- Provide guidance, training, and troubleshooting for end users.
- Document system configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Stay updated with Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra ID developments to recommend improvements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Expertise in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
- Expertise in SharePoint administration, governance/monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams platform and supporting associated applications.
- Strong knowledge of group-based licensing in AD and M365, as well as role-based access Entra ID.
- Familiarity with hybrid Exchange environments and Active Directory synchronization.
- Experience with user administration, Microsoft Teams support, OneDrive support and Azure portal administration preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) related to Entra Tenant, SharePoint, and SaaS technologies.
- Microsoft 365 certifications preferred.
- Preference, hybrid but will consider remote for qualified strong candidate.
