About the role

  • Act as a key contact and consultant for business departments regarding all SAP PP (Production Planning) and PS (Project System) related topics
  • Analyse, design, and continuously optimize SAP-based production and project management processes
  • Collaborate with business users to review change requests, assess feasibility of implementation, clarify detail requirements
  • Take ownership of SAP PP/PS customizing and ensure stable, efficient system solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of PP and PS with related SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO
  • Coordinate system testing, change requests, and process enhancements in close collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Create and maintain functional and technical documentation and conduct end-user training sessions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • SAP PP/PS certification preferred
  • 5+ years as an SAP PP/PS consultant/expert, with hands-on experience in ECC/R3 environments
  • Strong knowledge of Production Planning (PP) and Project Systems (PS) modules
  • Deep understanding of core business processes
  • Ability and willingness to onboard into a highly customized SAP system
  • Experience with customizing and support activities
  • Cross-module familiarity, especially with FI/CO, PP, SD, MM and WM
  • Basic ABAP debugging skills (programming knowledge advantageous)
  • Experience with third-party system interfaces (e.g. MES)
