About the role
- Supervise: Manage the team responsible for preparing technical quotations and proposals.
- Promote training, versatility and autonomy.
- Define and adjust team priorities, ensure delivery of proposals on time while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Collaborate with technical, sales and order administration (ADV) teams to ensure consistency of proposals and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in technical pre-sales meetings to guarantee the relevance of our offers.
- Optimize: Analyze customer requests from a global perspective and decide with the team on the best adapted technical solution.
- Monitor active quotations and follow up with customers and internal teams when necessary.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools.
Requirements
- Technical degree or engineering background.
- Significant experience managing a Quotation/Pre-Sales team or Engineering/Design Office, must be in the mechanical sector.
- Familiarity with the complexity of projects involving multiple processes and technologies, and with significant stakes (projects worth several million euros).
- Strong methodological skills: good judgment, familiarity with large-company processes and a focus on efficiency.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with IT tools (Excel, ERP, CRM, Teamcenter, etc.).
- Some travel (international) is to be expected.
