About the role
- Handle HTS Classification within the Trade compliance department
- Validate product country of origin and valuation for shipments
- Identify required information for Customs classification
- Analyze and assist in classifying goods according to U.S. Customs regulations
- Ensure product classifications align with CBP requirements
- Research tools like Cross Rulings and U.S Harmonized Tariff Schedule
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance or a related area
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations such as ITAR and EAR
- At least 2 years of experience in U.S. Customs and HTS classification
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Proficiency in trade compliance software and databases
