About the role
- Onboarding and gradual assumption of responsibility for a defined customer base in Spain, Portugal, Greece, the Balkan states and Hungary
- Close collaboration with the current Area Sales Manager
- Responsible for smooth project execution and for maintaining sustainable customer relationships
- Point of contact for our customers
- Deliver enthusiastic presentations to prospects and customers
- Preparation of quotations and support in preparing meetings
- Manage customer data in our CRM system and document relevant information
- Organize and conduct customer events, including support during trials
- Support account managers in sales projects
- Identify trends and customer needs and develop strategies to drive business growth
- Monitor the market and competitors and develop a strong sense for new customers and sales markets
- Collaborate with the sales team of our parent company
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Sales experience in machinery or plant engineering or a comparable field is desirable
- Excellent Spanish and German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken, are required
- Team player with a high degree of initiative and strong implementation skills
- Solution-oriented, structured, reliable, strong communicator, enthusiastic and creative
- Strong empathy, openness, friendliness, stress resilience and the ability to handle difficult situations
- Technically inclined with enthusiasm for machinery and plant engineering for plastic recycling
- Willingness to travel (30% - 40% annually)
