About the role
- Designing new electrical/firmware/software (major focus) and mechanical (minor focus) technology for future company growth
- Researching and leveraging new technology into Unifiller ecosystem
- Leading continuous improvement projects for products under development
- Leading customer projects that require highly customized solutions
- Testing new technologies and equipment
- Ensuring timelines and costs for projects are achieved
- Writing documentation for newly developed equipment such as instruction manuals, risk assessments, etc.
- Carrying out other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering (with mechanical aptitude)
- Fluent in C# or similar languages
- Firmware development experience an asset
- Proficiency in Unity preferred, other UI/UX platforms considered
- Familiarity with 3D vision technology, practical hands-on experience is an asset
- Bluetooth experience, preferably industrial applications
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar software
- Open to learning Microsoft Teams, Wrike, Made2Manage (ERP), Adept (Document Control)
