About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor Talent Management notifications to identify newly hired U.S. employees and upcoming start dates
- Send Welcome to Hill communications, orientation invitations, and supporting materials
- Facilitate one-hour virtual U.S. New Hire Orientation sessions, typically on Mondays
- Provide introductions to Hill, employee resources, Hill University, required learning, and development opportunities
- Respond to onboarding and learning-related questions and coordinate follow-up support
- Administer the U.S. Learning & Development Request process from submission through completion
- Track approvals, documentation, employee activity, milestones, and LDR database records
- Provide status information and routine reporting to the Vice President of Learning & Development
- Create quarterly LDR metrics and maintain audit-ready records
- Confirm Hill University learner profiles and assign onboarding, compliance, and required training
- Run compliance, assignment, and completion reports and perform routine learning-management-system administration
- Respond to learner questions and escalate system or content issues
- Maintain and update the #HillStrong Guide in Articulate
- Create, revise, and publish surveys, assessments, and Articulate-based materials
- Assist with eLearning courses, presentations, job aids, and digital learning resources
- Perform quality checks on learning content
- Maintain L&D records, files, trackers, and databases
- Support communications, surveys, data collection, reporting, scheduling, and documentation
- Contribute to L&D projects, employee development initiatives, and process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of applicable education and experience
- Two or more years of experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, training coordination, employee onboarding, learning administration, or a related area preferred
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and customer service skills
- Ability to facilitate virtual orientation sessions confidently and professionally
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and protect confidential employee information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience maintaining databases, trackers, and reports
- Working knowledge of learning management systems, preferably Skillsoft Percipio
- Demonstrated proficiency or ability to quickly learn Articulate
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience supporting compliance training, required learning assignments, and completion reporting
- Experience with MS Forms, survey development, reporting, and basic data analysis
- Familiarity with employee onboarding and professional development processes
